Winterville Cultural Center

For just two shows only, we are excited to be joined by two far-flung friends for a special collaboration. Florida-based Paddy League (guitar, bouzouki, bodhran) is a master of both Irish and Greek music. The outstanding clawhammer banjo playing of Michael Starkey (Edinburgh, Scotland) has already begun to make waves on this side of the pond.

This exciting transatlantic collaboration remains centered in the authentic oldtime appalachian music of the pre-radio era while exploring its roots and branches to create new musical conversations.

This will be an acoustic (or almost acoustic show). You’ll love it.
